Ex-Army Officer and mobilisation expert specialising in complex public sector service delivery, contract transitions, and strategy.
Jonathan is an accomplished mobilisation and transition specialist with extensive experience in strategy development, programme management, and embedding new contracts. He has spent the last 14 years in the service sector, managing contract transitions, driving new business opportunities, and leading operational delivery across the defence, health, justice, and immigration sectors, including building new multi-million-pound business streams from scratch. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led the setup of the UK's initial testing site network — coordinating across government departments and supply chains while establishing operational procedures to deploy a 10,000-strong workforce across 300 locations in under eight months.
Prior to his commercial career, Jonathan served for 28 years in the British Army. His military tenure included staff appointments within MOD Main Building, multiple operational tours, key personnel and logistics assignments, as well as the formation and command of a new unit. He attended the Advanced Command and Staff Course, holds an MBA from the Open University and an MA from King’s College London, and brings extensive formal qualifications in programme management. He was appointed an OBE for his work establishing cross-government strategies between the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, the UK MOD, and international development agencies to harmonise resources in support of regional stabilisation.
